On Monday, Year 5 students began their first unit of inquiry, ‘How the World Works’, with a visit to the College theatre from the Discovery Space Dome. After a very exciting entry through the double air lock doors into the inflatable ‘igloo’, the students were enthralled by the story of how our solar system was formed. As they lay on their backs watching the presentation unfold on the ceiling of the dome, many questions were forming. We look forward to using these to lead our inquiries.
