The UK Senior Maths Competition took place earlier this month. Students of Discovery College managed to score three Gold (Yoojin Choi in Year 12, Soovin Lee and Yanyau Cheng in Year 10), two Silver (Tomas Lau in Year 13 and Kathy Lau in Year 12) and 5 Bronze Certificates (Tim Fung and Tim Wong in Year 13, Nicky Li, Chantel Woo and Ryan Lung in Year 12). Well done to all participants and a special mention to Yanyau who scored the Best in School Award as well!
The Canadian Intermediate Mathematics Contest and the Canadian Senior Mathematics Contest, offered by University of Waterloo took place on Friday 21 November. This competition was two hours long, and results will be announced when they arrive. More competition news to follow.
