On 12 November, Year 11 Art students got to work with graphite artist Ian Murphy in designing a Discovery College themed artwork for the G/F conference room. The students spent 5 blocks learning sketching and layering techniques. The workshop contributes to our current unit on site specific artworks. Five students had the opportunity to design the layout that the art students will fill with sketches of the school. We look forward to seeing how this collaborative art piece joins together after working in class this week.
