Immunisation forms for Years 1 & 6 have been distributed this week. The Department of Health will visit our school on Friday 6 March 2015 to give vaccinations to Year 1 and Year 6 students. Year 1 students will receive Combined Diphtheria, Tetanus, acellular Pertussis and Inactivated Polio Vaccine (DTaP-IPV). Year 6 students will receive Combined Diphtheria, Tetanus, acellular Pertussis (reduced dose) & Inactivated Polio Vaccine (dTap-IPV).
The Department of Health will also be checking students’ immunisation records for history of BCG Vaccination. Those under 15 years without a history of BCG vaccine will be referred to the Chest Clinic of Department of Health for further management.
Please complete and return the required forms before Friday 27 February to enrol your Year 1 or 6 child in this clinic.
