This year our students have done very well as a group in the ISA, which was taken by students in Years 4, 6, 8 & 10. At all year levels they were above the ISA average for all components: Mathematics, Reading, and Writing task A and B. ESF has scored above ISA averages since it started using this test several years ago. This information is currently being analysed by ESF Centre.
ISA is done almost exclusively by International Schools. A significant number of these run the IB programme. The list of some of the schools participating can be found here. ESF primary schools, and many other international schools in HK use this test.
Parents of students in Years 4, 6, 8 & 10 have received notification that their child’s individual ISA results are now available on Gateway.
