Over the course of the next five weeks the Year 3s will be visiting a variety of Pizza Express outlets across Hong Kong. Apart from making their own pizzas and learning about how a restaurant functions, the students will be making connections to their new unit of inquiry ‘How the world works’. Looking into the changes that occur in food when it cooks links the students’ learning in class to an authentic everyday example. As summed up by Marcus Chao, “This has been a delicious learning opportunity!”
