Today the 3rd Annual Spanish Speech Competition was held at Island School. DC had three individual prize winners: Nikunj Agarwal placed 1st in the junior category, Ilya Filonau placed 2nd in the individual open category and Chiara Kung placed 3rd in the Senior Category. All contestants were expected to memorise and perform/recite from previously chosen texts.
Discovery College earned first place overall, beating out 5 other ESF schools. We will host next year’s competition.
