A DB community group is raising funds to name and support a Moon Bear for DB, through Animals Asia Foundation. The Moon Bear will one of those rescued by Animals Asia from bear bile farms and moved to one of the foundation’s bear sanctuaries in China.
The first fundraiser is a competition for DB students aged 8-17 to design the ‘DBear’ t-shirt. The winning design will become the official DBear t-shirt, which will be sold throughout DB to raise funds for our community’s Moon Bear. Entry deadline is August 15, 2015, and entries can be submitted via email to DBear888@hotmail.com.
