The volume contains twenty-four Extended Essays, written by IB Diploma students of the Class of 2014 at Discovery College. The Extended Essay is not only a compulsory academic research essay, but also a fascinating journey into a focussed research question chosen by the student. Throughout this journey, students pursue knowledge, develop their creative and critical thinking skills and experience the excitement of intellectual discovery.
The volume contains a selection of the work carried out by our young researchers, providing insight into the nature of the Extended Essay.
