Homemade Lantern Competition

Posted: September 25, 2015

More than 140 creative and beautiful homemade lanterns have been hung in the school foyer showing DC primary students’ appreciation of Chinese culture, creativity, and craft skills. Each of the lanterns is a masterpiece made by students.

After a very challenging judging process, where a great number of lanterns met the criteria, the following students have been recognised:

  • Year 1: Veeva Pipanoja & Taytum Barr
  • Year 2: Felicia Tam, Alice Fung, Isabella Odendaal & Anderson Zhang
  • Year 3: Regina Tsang & Reese Tam
  • Year 4: Shaurya Bhandari & Dylan Jones
  • Year 5: Akshat Bhandari & Aidan Leung
  • Year 6: Angelyn Cunningham

The acknowledgement certificate will be presented at the Moon Festival Celebration held at school on Friday evening.
