Year 7 thanks Sea Shepherd

Posted: September 11, 2015

On Tuesday 7 September the Y7 Humanities students were fortunate to have Gary Stokes, the head of the Asian division of Sea Shepherd International, come and speak to them. Gary is a passionate animal activist, so his experiences fit well with our current study on Endangered Species. Gary’s first hand knowledge provided a powerful, informative and entertaining learning experience for the students, helping to make this contemporary issue more real. We look forward to seeing the students’ applying what they learned in their assessments and hopefully being more aware of the impact of their choices and actions in their daily lives.
