All Discovery College students and their parents are warmly invited to next week’s MYP Personal Project Exhibition in the Performing Arts Theatre Foyer on Thursday 21 April. The Exhibition will open at 6.30pm, with a formal address to students and parents at 7pm.
The Personal Project has been a year-long inquiry in which students had the opportunity to practice and strengthen their approaches to learning (ATL) skills, to consolidate prior and subject-specific learning, and to develop an area of personal interest.
At the Exhibition, students will be available to speak about their truly personal project product/outcome which demonstrates a consolidation of their learning and is a culmination of their work in the MYP.
Parents of Year 10 are invited to attend an information session from 7.30-8.00pm in the Diploma Centre. The PTA will be selling drinks and light refreshments.
The Exhibition will also be open for general viewing on the afternoon of Wednesday 20 April and the morning of Friday 22 April.
