As part of Discovery Culture Festival in December, a group of DC secondary students elected to spend a day with Christy’s Costumes looking at costume design. Christy’s Costumes is a major global supplier of costumes for parties, celebrations and fancy dress. Students were taken through the design process and at the end of the day the costume judged the best was submitted to be made into a prototype. This year, Y10 student Meredith Feehan’s ‘Galaxy Girl’ was selected. A big thank you goes to Christy’s Costumes for their support in offering this wonderful opportunity for our students.
