On Tuesday our students had the opportunity to meet some new friends and buddy up with different year levels across the school as part of our first House Activity session for the year. Activities were varied and included working together to make parachutes, paper airplanes, drawing, constructing, tabloid sports, catapults, disco, table tennis etc. One lovely example was seeing our Y1s with stars in their eyes (and aches in their necks) looking up to their Y13 buddies (who were initially quite nervous).
The activities provided an exciting opportunity to build our sense of community across the college. Another session will be scheduled early in the new year.
