Y10 students and their parents are invited to attend an information evening regarding the MYP Personal Project in the DC Theatre at 6pm on Tuesday 13 June. The information evening will be hosted by the MYP coordinator, Mr Adrian Gan, the current PP coordinator, Mrs Danielle Veilleux and the PP coordinator for next year, Mr Rob Street. As the culminating project of the MYP, the Personal Project is undertaken by all students in Y11. In order to give students ample opportunity to research and start their product over the summer, the students will develop their goals and determine the scope of their project in the next two weeks.
Parents play a significant role in their child’s learning as they embark on this independent project, which will last approximately eight months. We would like to provide parents with the knowledge and understanding to be able to best support their child, help to keep them motivated and know the steps of what they are working on. The evening will also provide an opportunity to ask questions and discuss concerns as we begin the Personal projects with all Y10 students.
