Coraline Lo, Y5 participated in Sai Kung District badminton competition.. Winning through to the finals Coraline, who is 9, played against a 10 year old girl who is in the regional badminton squad. Coraline triumphed to win first place in two tightly fought contests: 21:14, 22:20.
In the Islands District 2017 Boys Singles Alfred Lo, Y11 won through a series of tough matches to make the finals. Faced with an older opponent, who was a head taller, he won first runner up in a very close contest: 19-21, 21-15, 13-21. In the Islands District 2017 Boys Doubles, Alfred and his partner played against against extremely strong opponents, in some cases two years older than them. Successfully winning through to the finals match, they played against a pair both one year older. They won champion after defeating their opposition in some tough matches 18-21, 21-14, 21-12.
