Use of electric scooters, bikes and skateboards in DB

Please be informed the use of Electric Mobility Devices is illegal on roads in HK, including Discovery Bay. According to the Hong Kong Transport Department, mobility devices including mini-motorcycles, electric scooters and electric unicycles, etc. are all mechanically propelled and thus belong to “motor vehicles”. These devices are not suitable to be used on roads and walkways (pavements). While this is not directly a school issue, a number of students are riding these devices to school. If you, or your child, is a user of these types of devices within Discovery Bay, please be aware you do so at your own risk.
