Community Engagement at Discovery College encompasses the service components of our IB programmes. Aligned with this, this year sees a name change in the MYP – what was referred to as Community & Service (C&S) is now referred to as Community Engagement (CE). Details on the MYP Community Engagement programme can be found in the CE presentation given at the DC Parent Information Fair, available from the school website, while the Community Engagement blog will be the main source of information related to DC’s Community Engagement efforts.
Community Engagement Captains
Community Engagement Captains are a newly created student leadership position at DC. The Community Engagement (CE) Captains will consist of elected student members from Years 7-12 who will play a role in managing and developing Discovery College’s CE activities.
