During next week, each family will be receiving their copy of the 2014-15 Student Directory.
Please note, the Directory will be handed out to the youngest student in each family. Also, if you have not paid your stationery or PTA fees, your child will not receive the Directory. If the information in the Directory is incorrect, please update your contact details on Gateway.
This year’s directory has a fantastic artwork on the front designed by Katrina Raimann in Year 13. Katrina, who is a Diploma Visual Arts student and a recipient of a Discovery College Visual Art scholarship, worked closely with a representative of the PTA to fulfill a design brief for the directory cover. For the design, Katrina chose to illustrate the concept of communication and so used a phone motif in foreground and the Hong Kong skyline as a backdrop. She said of her design, “a directory is used to communicate between students and parents, and so I wanted to create a visual and metaphorical connection between the school and its community.”
