Year 2 Community Field Trip

This week the Year 2 students, teachers and parent volunteers moved the learning away from the usual classroom setting by visiting the Discovery Bay and Peng Chau communities. After travelling by the bus and ferry, students explored both neighbourhoods, making observations and recording the differences and similarities between both. The experience enabled students to make further connections for the ‘How we organise ourselves’ unit of inquiry by identifying the available services and systems to meet the needs of community members.
