This week, Y11 had a workshop with artist-in-residence Nicole Voevodin-Cash in which we created a collaborative sculpture. Each Year 11 student made a piece approximately two meters long that would be added to a group piece, which was then inflated. We had a great experience learning from such an accomplished and incredible artist and working together as a team. Sewing it was a challenge but we quickly learnt about construction and the use of space with these 3D creations. We’re really looking forward to having another day like this again in the future. Look out for the finished artwork soon.
