This week the Y3 students were treated to a presentation and talk about appreciating nature through art, particularly leafy sea dragons, from DC parent and SCUBA-diving enthusiast, Yook Coote. Yook showed the students a range of photos of sea life that he has taken and helped the children see the elements of art, such as form, texture and shape, in each of the photos. The students then followed up the presentation by incorporating leafy sea dragons into their artwork.
