On Thursday 5 February, students and staff of Discovery College had a 45 minute Skype session with MIT Professor Emeritus Noam Chomsky. This is the third such opportunity for the school in as many years, and the event drew a large crowd of students in Y10 and above as well as staff from across the school. Professor Chomsky is well known for his views on global foreign policy as well as his pioneering work in the field of linguistics, so naturally, the conversation gravitated around these topics.
