Year 4 students explore pattern in the art room

The past few weeks have seen Year 4 exploring patterns in the works of folk artist Heather Galler. We have investigated how the elements of art are used when creating patterns and developed effective techniques to use in our designs. Our biggest focus, ‘Keep it Simple!’ has been a challenge but students are beginning to see rewards for their efforts in their stunning artworks.
