Our annual celebration of Book Week will take place from 20-24 April.
Some events that have been planned include a Scavenger Hunt, a Bilingual Bazaar, a Moo Card/Guess Who Competition and last but not least the Character Parade. The Parade will take place on Friday 24 April at 8.40am so start planning your character costume now. Parents are most welcome to come and watch the parade that will take place in the entry courtyard.
We will also be launching our student support of The Library Project where we will be raising money in the whole of Term 3 to support a new Library room being built at a selected school in China. Last year our efforts were very successful.
To help us have a successful Bilingual Bazaar we are also looking for some parents to volunteer reading in several different languages to our Primary students. If you have done this before we welcome you back, and if this interest you please contact leanne.sercombe@dc.edu.hk. The Bazaar will take place on Thursday 23 April at 1pm and will last approximately 30-40 mins during Primary Lunch.
