As always, it has been an exciting week in Galaxy 5. We have formed our Media Groups and have hooked up with our authentic clients, who are adults within the school and in the community.
This new unit of inquiry, “How we express ourselves,” will be developing students’ self-management and communication skills. They will need to take responsibility for the progress of their project and be effective communicators, not only within their groups, but also with their clients in order to be successful. The students will be putting into practice the persuasive techniques used in advertising that we have been analysing in the early stages of the unit.
