The Y4 students have this week begun their Drama unit on Scripts. They are using “Changes in the night” written by Heather Eyles, and are learning how to memorise lines and interpret characters. Students are working in groups and using improvisation and role play to develop and establish the characters, using the text as a starting point. The unit will encompass storyboarding and script writing where students will design and write their own script for performance. At the moment, there is great enthusiasm and excitement around learning lines by heart and performing a scene for their classmates.
