Congratulations to the Year 6 swimmers who represented DC in our own Invitational swim meet on Tuesday 9 June. The swim meet was hosted by DC and six schools participated (Kellett, Kennedy, Bradbury, Renaissance, Shatin Junior, and DBIS). Everyone swam well against some very impressive competitors. DC placed 6th overall. The Girls team placed 6th and the Boys team finished 3rd.
Thank you to DC Senior Students – Luc Gemassmer, Arshia Dhawan, Ellen Gasser, Grace Kai Fong, Ryan Lee, Anneliese Beijerbergen, Nicola Adcock, Rachel Telford, Christopher Kwok, and William Walsh who helped out as as officials, photographer and team manager.
A HUGE thank you to the Y6 mums and dads who volunteered as timekeepers, not to mention being a wonderfully supportive cheer squad!
Lastly, a big thank you to swim coaches Amanda and Kylie for organising and running the event.
