TED-Ed Presentations Online

Posted: June 26, 2015

Since January, members of the student led TED-Ed club in Discovery College have been exploring and discussing a range of different concepts and ideas. Sparked by both personal interests and topics found on online TED talks, each session revolved around either engaging a group discussion or developing a talk based on a personal selected topic. Over 9-10 June, DC TED-Ed’s 15 students were able to showcase the presentations they developed. These topics ranged from challenging the stigma against politics to the exploration of gender stereotypes in the music industry. We look forward to the club’s longevity and plan to host another TED-Ed event next school year. Feel free to view the presentations here!
