Galaxy 5 goes camping

Posted: November 6, 2015

What a great time was had by our Y5 students at camp last week. After traveling by ferry to Cheung Chau we immediately began enjoying activities such as sand castle building, island walks, biking and hiking, shopping, temple studies and beach rescue. The weather was very hot but that didn’t stop everyone from joining in with enthusiasm and zest.

The students had fun trying to make up their beds, keep their belongings in order, try new foods and make new friends. Independence, responsibility, resilience and courage were the standout learning experiences for all students.

Teachers were very proud of the respect shown by students to parent volunteers, camp staff, each other and the people and surroundings of Cheung Chau.

Thank you to everyone involved in helping to make our camping experience so successful.
