DC’s student environmental group, the Green Cobras, has been working with DB Green to try and make this week’s Family Fun Day a more environmentally friendly event. To try to reduce waste from the event, we are requesting that that if you wish to purchase food, please bring your own plates and silverware. If you do bring your own, you will be given a ticket that will enter you into a special ‘door (plate) prize’ to be in the running to win prizes that include a $500 dinner voucher for Hemingway’s By The Bay and coupons for high quality ASHNI hand-crafted products!
If you do not bring your own plates, you will be asked to use reusable plates provided at the plates booth that will be setup on the LG/F. This will require a fully refundable deposit.
We ask you to do you part and be responsible for reducing your waste. Please also use the recycle bins that will be placed around the school on the day.
