Congratulations to Ethan Davies, Y7, for recently winning achievements at two of the prestigious Hong Kong hosted international triathlon events.
On Saturday 31 October, Ethan completed the HK ITU event at Sunny Bay to finish 1st Place runner-up after a completing a 250m open water swim, a grueling bike course and a 3km run. Then, 6-days later finished 2nd Place runner-up at the New World International event – which brings local and overseas athletes to contest in a challenging HK harbour swim, followed by a hilly 10km bike course along Salisbury Rd and ending with a 3km run – completed in approximately 35minutes.
Although exhausted at the end of the race at Sunny Bay, he did manage a genuinely excitable smile when he arrived at the podium to collect his trophy.
