Foreign Currency Charity Drive

Posted: March 4, 2016

Do you have any foreign currency left over from recent overseas trips? If so, then you may be able to help three Year 7 students who are taking Community Action by supporting the work of a local charity.

Franchesca Escueta, Eshanya Boteju and Serena Wong have made connection with the ‘Home of Loving Faithness’, a Hong Kong orphanage who support and care for ophans with disabilities and individual needs.

They are trying to help the charity raise money to buy a new wheelchair that will transform the life of one of their community members.

If you have any foreign currency you are able to donate, or if not, you can kindly donate a small amount of money ($5-10) and it would make a huge difference to the work of the charity.

If you wish to donate Primary School Class Captains will be collecting from classes first thing in the morning until the end of term. For secondary students there will be a donation box in the main school office.
