Home Temperature Monitoring

Posted: March 11, 2016

Due to the recent increase of students being absent with fever and cold/flu like symptoms, and further confirmed cases of Influenza B, the government body of the Centre for Health Protection (CHP) and ESF has advised that daily temperature monitoring of each student takes place.

A temperature monitoring chart has been sent home with Primary students this week. Parents are reminded to please fill out the chart daily before school, in order to ensure that their child is well enough to attend. If you can not find the temperature chart, please write the temperature in your child’s diary.

Please be reminded that a temperature of 37.5 degrees celsius or above means your child is unable to attend schoolFever should have subsided for 48 hours (without the aid of medication) before a child returns to school.

We thank you for your co-operation in helping us cope with this infleunza season.
