A few weeks ago, approximately 20 parents attended a DC Drugs Education and Interventions Presentation by Sue Thomas (Vice Principal) and Brian McCann (Vice Principal). The foci were:
- An explanation of how our Student Support Programme develops knowledge and understanding about drugs and provides skills in responsible decision-making and self awareness
- Sharing of our processes when a student is of concern with regards to drugs
- An opportunity for parental discussion and input
Those that attended said how informative they found it, so we will be running this again in Term 1 in the next academic year.
