How can you help develop a growth mindset in your child?

Posted: May 27, 2016

Developing a growth mindset in students and in ourselves results in higher learning, resilience, grit, perseverance, and determination.  We have been explicitly teaching our students to embrace challenge, to understand failure is a gift we learn from, and to have the determination to keep going.

The support you can provide from home is invaluable in deepening your child(ren)’s growth mindset. Mindset Kit is a website dedicated to teaching and fostering adaptive beliefs about learning.  For those of you who want to learn more, take some time to browse through this site as there are some excellent resources available. You may even consider completing the Growth Mindset for Parents course.
