Last Friday night almost 120 Y2 students spent the night at Discovery College. It was the annual Sleepover and a very special event for everyone involved. First, a quick rest and snack at home was needed before students returned to DC to set-up their beds in the drama rooms with some of their teachers. Everyone enjoyed a picnic dinner of finger food and special treats before the activities began. There were games, dancing and craft events as well as a night walk through the school and even bedtime stories. After an early wake-up for many, everyone headed to the cafeteria for a delicious breakfast. For many students, this was their very first sleepover away from home. We know from all the smiles and comments throughout that it will be remembered fondly as a fun experience with friends.
