Our EOTC (Education Outside the Classroom) programme is an important part of secondary life at Discovery College. Through participation in camps, students get the chance to gain confidence and self-esteem through taking on challenges and achieving success. Personal qualities such as increased initiative, self-reliance, responsibility, perseverance and commitment are also demonstrated. We will continue to run the camp programmes as in previous years, but with a change to the scheduling.
The Y8 and 9 camps will now take place in November. This is in order to align with our Y10-12 No Boundaries and Y7 Hong Kong Hustle activities. The purpose of this change in scheduling is to limit the disruption to the Secondary programme by having all staff and students off timetable at the same time.
