Welcome to the 2016-17 academic year. Despite the false start on Wednesday due to the red rain, we have enjoyed two excellent days with lots of excited and keen students.
Next Thursday 18 August from 4-7.30pm is our Parent Information Fair, a very important date on our calendar for all parents, whether you have been at DC for several years, or are brand new. We have changed the format of this year’s fair, condensing the programme to start after school. Most major sessions will be repeated, which will give you an opportunity to chose the time/s that best suit you. Please click HERE for a pdf copy of the programme. The relationship between school and home is extremely important, especially that between parents and the teachers of your child/ren. This fair gives you the opportunity to meet with all your child/ren’s teachers, find out about important aspects of the programme and ask questions about the year ahead. I invite all DC parents to please put aside some time to come and join us next Thursday.
