The DC Community Engagement fair will be held in the DC Foyer during Primary and Secondary lunch times (1.00-2.20pm) on Thursday 29 September. It will involve NGOs, community organisations and DC students sharing details of their involvement in the community.
It aims to provide students with the opportunity to learn about the work that is conducted by various organisations and the local issues that they aim to address, as well as to develop awareness of the opportunities for students to get involved in as a part of both the IB Diploma (CAS) and IB MYP (Community Engagement) work. Year 6 students will be introduced to opportunities for action that will continue through the year and culminate in their PYP exhibition. Parents are also welcome to attend.
