On Tuesday 13 September, DC hosted the ISSFHK Junior swim meet at the Discovery College Pool. For many in the Junior team, this was their first time representing Discovery College. Competing against swimmers from Kellett, AISHK, Harrow and DBIS our swimmers managed to calm their nerves, sharpened their focus and put in 110% effort. With 36 top 3 places, and every swimmer in the team recording a new PB (personal best time) the result was a well-earned victory for Discovery College.
Winning the swim meet was truly a team effort. Thank you to the DC community of parents, senior swim team members and students who came along to help out and cheer our team on.
