The Y3 students enjoyed an EPIC camp last week where they tried a range of activities and experiences for the first time. They have really started to gel as a year group and show a developing maturity and independence in their approach to how they tackle challenges and take on new opportunities. The students put all their previous learning on teamwork and the associated skills to good use by cooperating, communicating, caring and encouraging each other. From sleeping in dormitories, to being away from home for the first time, making new friends and trying new foods, everything was approached with a growth mindset and positive attitude. Thanks to all the staff and parents who continually supported the students and helped make camp not just an EPIC adventure but also a lifetime memory.
