After a week of literary fun, Book Week 2016 has come to a close. This week our Year 12 and Year 13 students worked with our very popular guest writer Nury Vittachi on features of journalistic writing. Nury’s workshops were a huge success and we were delighted to welcome him to our school once more.
MYP students took on the challenge of the library scavenger hunt. Throughout both weeks, primary and secondary students have been taking part in the various library activities which included our Moo Card Challenge, Guess Who competition, and Morning Bulletin, Emoji and Silhouette Quizzes. The Bilingual Bazaar was a raging success and the busiest ever. Students were also busy decorating their classroom doors with book related themes.
Congratulations to all quiz and competition winners listed on our new DC Library website here.
We thank all participants and sponsors for making Book Week 2016 such a great success.
We hope you enjoy this video for a snapshot of the week’s events.
