The ‘How we express ourselves’ unit of inquiry culminated in an exhibition of learning for the Year 2 students this week. Parents joined us in the theatre for a combined assembly and then individual presentations. The students researched celebrations from a range of cultures and prepared information in different forms along with artifacts to share their knowledge. A focus on communication skills enabled students to deliver these with confidence and enthusiasm, having worked with teachers across the curriculum for Music, Drama, Visual Arts and Chinese. An amazing effort by all children and we are sure many parents left feeling extremely proud.
