The assistance of members of the DC Community is requested to help address an issue faced by the DB Pirates Rugby Club. The Club has a number of large, soft-texture safety barriers which it uses on its pitch to protect players and spectators and facilitate matches and training. They are a valuable resource for the DB community but are sadly being damaged as a number of young people are going onto the pitch, moving the barriers around and playing on them without permission or appropriate supervision. Those doing this, especially where they are jumping or ‘flipping’ on them, may injure themselves. Parents are asked to be aware that this is happening and remind their children of the importance of avoiding this behaviour. Thank you for your support of a valued community partner.
