DC students make a mark at the inaugural ISSFHK Fencing Championships

A team of three DC students (Tsz Ying Lee, Ron Tso, Marcell Mereyni) recently competed in the inaugural ISSFHK Fencing Championships. Held at Chinese International School, all students fought incredibly well amid fierce competition. Ron and Marcell, who entered the Boy’s Foil category, made through to  round 16 and the quarter-final respectively. Tsz Ying, who entered the Girl’s Foil category, got through to the semi-finals and won a bronze medal for being co-third. Overall, it was an incredibly fun event and an invaluable experience for developing technique and sportsmanship.
