Each year the Consulate General of Mexico, along with the Consulate General of Spain, honour local students for excellence in Spanish with the Cervantes Book Award. This year one of DC’s students, Luana Macedo Maghalhaes Ayres, was one of 12 Hong Kong students to receive this honor. The students were recognised with an awards ceremony and banquet at the Mexican Consulate.
