Congratulations to our newly appointed DC Primary Environmental Ambassadors. These 22 Y5 students will lead the way in environmental action both within DC and our local community next year. Last Friday the group participated in a Community Mapping Project under the guidance of The Jane Goodall Institute, Roots & Shoots Hong Kong. The students observed and documented the positive and negative environmental aspects of the DC locality. These were then uploaded to a Google Map so that they are able to share some of the issues with others in our community. The findings will inform and guide the students as they develop projects aimed at finding solutions to these problems. We look forward to sharing their initiatives as well as ways in which the whole DC community can support these next year.
