Last Saturday, Sean Wade, who now attends Sacred Heart College in Aukland, flew to Wellington to represent the Auckland region in the 2017 National Chinese speech competition. This year’s speech topic for secondary students was “Learn Chinese, Double Your World”. Sean talked about the differences between living in Hong Kong and New Zealand and what opportunities learning Chinese had given him. He even showed the audience some Tai Chi sword during his talent act.
