On Thursday 14 September, all secondary school students will finish the school day at 12 noon. Secondary teachers will be engaged that afternoon in an afternoon of professional development led by Lance King. Lance King is a internationally recognised expert in the area of Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills and worked with the IB to develop its current ATL skills framework. The ATL framework articulates a wide range of specific competencies in the domains of communication, social, self-management, research and thinking skills. Our work with Lance King will have a positive impact on teaching and learning across the entire secondary school.
